Property info

This rural paradise is located in a beautiful spot in North Portugal – the valley of the river Âncora at its feet and surrounded by the mountains of Serra d'Arga. Just a five-minute walk away, you find the hill “Monte do Calvário” which offers an amazing viewpoint above the town of Vila Praia de Âncora and the Atlantic Ocean. The Portuguese Caminho along the Coast of Santiago is about 1300 metres away, in less than two kilometres you reach the Ecovia do Litoral North (Caminho Português da Costa – Rota Litoral) , a route of rare beauty along the coast. Besides the natural beauty, our guests can rest and enjoy the rural tranquillity or be more active enjoy some good waves at the local surf spots or discover the area through various activities offered (for example, stand-up paddling, kayaking, horseriding or trail tracks). You can also explore the trails in the surrounding mountains of Serra d’Arga (Protected Area of the Natura Network) with its varied flora, waterfalls and Garranos, Portugal’s wild horses which are easy to be spotted.
