Apartment Maja is situated on the sunny side of the Alps in the Slovenian village Breznica, Anton Janša's birth place, a pioneer of modern beekeeping. Our apartment is in the upper part of the house, underneath Karawanks. A bright and huge apartment has got 3 rooms with 7 beds (rooms of 2 beds, 3 beds, 2 beds), a kitchen with a big tarrace, bathroom with toillet and an info point place. It is a marvellous place for relaxing and has got an unforgettable view on Bled, imago paradisi place. Apartment Maja is specially appropriate for small groups (7-8 people) or families (one or two), who want to spend their holiday together.
Being a nature, sport and beekeeping lover, I've decided to be a host. Meeting new people, who love travelling and discovering new places in the Alps is not only interesting, it is also inspiring. I know many cosy places in the surrounding and could be of your help, anytime.
Apartment Maja is situated on the sunny side of the Alps in the Slovenian village Breznica, Anton Janša's birth place. A pioneer of modern Beekeeping is known as a first teacher of beekeeping on the Court of Empress Maria Theresa (17th Century). May 20th, his birthday, will be soon declared as a World Bee Day. There is no birth house of this important Slovenian, but guests could visit his beehive in our village, well-known beekeeping museum in Radovljica (12 km) and a modern apiculture centre in Lesce (7 km). We are very proud to be situated just 6 km from Bled, an Alpine pearl with a beautiful lake, island and a castle. There is a great view on the lake from the apartment's terrace and on a part of the Julian Alps with the highest Slovenian mountain, called Triglav. Just a 30-minute walk (northern) from the apartment and you could reach Završnica valley, small Alpine valley in the Karawanks, where countless paths for hiking and biking are available.
