The charming Slovenian capital of Ljubljana is the only large city in the country. Dominated by Castle Hill with the medieval Ljubljana Castle on top, the city is a picturesque mix of Balkan architectural styles, romantic bridges and scenic views.

Two days is all you need to see the city.
Two days is all you need to see the city. We spent fifteen nights in Slovenia and just saw the best bits, we could have spent longer. Ljubljana doesn't have as much to offer as other European city's, Rome, Paris or Krakow all have more but it's pleasant enough. Visit the Tivoli Park and watch the red squirrels. Take an apple and they will come and sit on the park bench and enjoy it with you, they are so tame.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipted with attention to details (nice coffee, tea, soap & shampoo, even body milk) as you are in 5 star hotel. Also, it is only 20min of wonderful green walk by Tivoli park to get to Ljubljana Zoo which was our top activity for 3 days that we spent in Ljubljana. We are cooming back for sure.
