The location was magical, the staff bent over backwards to be helpful and accommodating .. thank you Natasha for all of your helpful information and for going out of your way to find a place for us to charge and safely store our e-bikes. The breakfast buffet was only 8eur including coffee & steamed milk, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cold cereals, eggs, meats and cheeses the dinner menu had a huge variety of meat and vegetarian dishes and was served on the terrace overlooking the breathtaking view of the mountains

This historic building is in an excellent location, not only for stunning views out window and balcony, but for the easy access to the top of Vrsic Pass. Our family of 5 shared one of the family-rooms which consisted of a double bed and sets of bunk beds and a private bath. Access to our room was with a tight spiral staircase, so anyone with mobility issues should be aware. The decor, while spartan, has a distinct alpine feel that well suits the location. An optional breakfast for $8 is offered in the dining room and consists of yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, bread, eggs and fresh fruit and juice. The view from the covered porch at breakfast was incredible. The excellent coffee was plentiful. We appreciated the cheerful and helpful staff.

Beautiful view from restaurant terrace. Beds super comfy. Lots of parking available. The hotel is en route through the mountains and in a really beautiful area. The lodge is very much like a practical mountain lodge- the intent is to have a place to sleep the night and it provides that with very comfortable beds. It's a no frills place and may or may not have wifi. I think that's great but there was a moment of panic from other members in my group when the wifi wasn't working in the room. There is a restaurant on site which is super convenient
