Mostnica Cottage is in a peaceful and idyllic position overlooking the Mostnica River with walking trails direct form the house to Lake Bohinj and up the stunning Mostnica Gorge. There are no neighbours on one side as it is the last house on the street giving an extre sense of privacy especially in the garden to the rear of the house. On two sides of the house are lovely views of local mountains and forests and of course of the Mostnica River. The village of Stara Fuzina is located on the shore of Lake Bohinj (the house is 1.3km to the lake - 2 minutes by car or circa 10 minutes walk) and is one of the most attractive and popular villages in the Bohinj Valley and the start point for ascents of many of the most beautiful peaks in the Julian Alps including Triglav, Slovenia's highest mountain. There are restaurants, bars and supermarket all a two minute walk from the house, and plenty more amenities within a 15 minute walk. The main attraction of the area is of course Lake Bohinj, a serene lake surrounded by towering peaks and pristine forests considered by many to be the most beautiful part of Slovenia.
