Located in Oakhurst, just 10 miles from Yosemite National Park, the completely nonsmoking Sierra Sky Ranch was established as a cattle ranch and evolved into a guest ranch in 1946.

Breakfast was good, l would like to have had the option of milk instead of packaged creamers with corn syrup at the coffee bar. However, that was a small thing. Overall, ftthe stay was great.

Fell in love with the location and I want to go back. Sad to leave, but all good things with a vacation come to an end. I am glad I stayed central to the town. Loved the local art gallery and artist there.

Beautiful tiny city in a short ride to Yosemite, amazing and friendly locals always ready to help. don't forget to bring the chains if you travel to Yosemite. Stores in the area could be short of tire chains of the price won't make you happy.

Oakhurst is just 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite. That entrance is closest to the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. The Valley and waterfalls are another 45 minute drive. Oakhurst has a great selection of restaurants, antique stores and friendly people. The selection of rooms is less expensive and easier to book than Yosemite. During the season, there is also YARTS bus system taking visitors to Yosemite (there is a fee). This makes it easier so you don't have to fight traffic, search for parking or have a park reservation.

We found Oakhurst to be a friendly town whether in local restaurants, visitor center, drug stores, and grocery stores. Oakhurst has a quaint, small town feel to it. Close to Yosemite activities and Yosemite National Park.

The place was not quiet.
The place was not quiet. On the second night there were people next door and I could almost hear them breathe. Plus I booked two nights based on the "reduced rate" of $79 but was then billed for extras. I would not have booked this had the cost been up front. Shame on Booking.com for not being transparent. When I complained to Booking.com I was told there was no refund. I wont book either of them again.

The hotel is clean and you can walk to restaurants and other facilities nearby.Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oakhurst...we're stayed here and the breakfast was simple but delicious and the coffee was good too. There are several delicious restaurants nearby where you can have dinner.
30 minutes from the hotel to the national park entrance
It takes about 1 hour and 20" from the entrance to the center of the national park.
Arriving by motorcycle, our special request was for the downstairs room so we could easily unload our luggage and keep an eye on our bikes. This request was granted and we were very pleased to be able to use the nice swimming pool because it was an extremely hot day in Oakhurst. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Denny’s restaurant which allowed us to have a nice breakfast before heading out on our ride, because unfortunately due to the pandemic the hotel no longer served a continental breakfast.
Very friendly service. Comfortable rooms. There is tea and coffee and fruit in the lobby, which is a welcome sight after a full day at Yosemite.
During our first night, a water pipe in town broke, which led to lack of water in the hotel for a day; the staff gave us plenty of water bottles so we could still wash our hands (and free snacks for the inconvenience), which was much appreciated.
Loved everything. Clean & well maintained hotel! Great lcoation - very close to everything you need throughout the day: stores, Starbucks, food, fast food. Yosemite itself is about 50 min- 1h away, so keep that in mind. It was an absolutely great deal with the location and convenience of being close to the National Park - great price!! Will definately come again.
Spacious room. Free parking. Breakfast was complimentary. There was a small pool for the kids. If you stay in Oakhurst there is enough choice where to eat. It’s half an hour from the entrance of Yosemite park, but if you want to go to Yosemite village where the Mirror Lake and the more known hiking trails are you have to drive for 1,5 hrs.
The Villa is fantastic and ideal for a family. Near to the town of Oakhurst to get provisions. We spent our evenings looking at the stars and drinking wine! If California was on the doorstep to us as is France we would definitely return here for a longer break.
Very good hotel near the gates of Yosemite National Park. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The hotel had a dry sauna, a steam sauna and an outside whirlpool, which were all very welcome after a long day of driving.
Breakfast and food at the restaurant was good. We had a room with a kitchen which was well worth it for us! The hotel area was lovely! Good fairly short drive to the national park. Very good value for money!
The location of the hotel is quite good and the exteriors are quite beautiful but that's really the only positive thing. The welcome on arrival was pleasant.
Woman at front desk was helpful and very pleasant. Wanted more of a cabin/lodge experience than a chain hotel, and Oakhurst Lodge met that. Good location.
The room is very cozy, and the environment is very very chill and the beautiful if I am going to Yosemite again, I will choose this hotel one more time.
