The Estate of Hale Laule'a is situated on Opihi Point in the town of Hakalau, 12 miles North of Hilo, Hawaii, on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island. Known as the Golden Coast of Hawaii, it is referred to as the most lush and beautiful area of all of Hawaii. Visit old towns, waterfalls, private beaches and areas most visitors to Hawaii will never see. Hale Laule'a is 20 minutes from Hilo, 1 hour drive to Volcano National Park, 1.5 hour dirve to the top of Mauna Kea mountain, and 1.75 hours to Kona.
