Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square, hotel in New York

Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Hell's Kitchen district of New York City.

Good choice to explore Manhattan, close to times square with many restaurants and groceries around. Metro station and bus stop 5 min walk from the hotel. Room is good but a little bit narrow, clean and comfortable. the breakfast is very good with enough varieties (egg, bacon, cheese, yogurt, fruits, pancakes, sausages, cold and hot deinks). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the location of the hotel it was very close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and Times Square. The train is close by as well. One thing I will say in the Manhattan Area most places where we ate the average cost of meals was about $20 us PP and even at the gas station we were paying about $4 for a bottle of water. I'd recommend maybe stopping by a grocery store and grabbing a case of water and some snacks to save yourself some funds while staying in Manhattan.

Loved all the attractions Top of the Rock/ Empire State/9/11 museum is very poignant and must be seen/ bus tours and boat tours to Statue of Liberty etc/cycling round Central Park all fabulous. Best food in the diners we loved Carnegies and Brooklyn Diner.

New York is busy, crowded and just full of life.

New York is busy, crowded and just full of life. It was great to experience the nature of what New York is all about. Lot's of places to eat and lots of museums and places to visit and experience. Loved New York broadyway! if you're into musicals or theatre highly recommend for you to watch something. Loved the comedy shows too. The subway does get a big confusing but it gets easier once you get the hang of it. Not the cleanest city and not the best to get around by car. As an Aussie there are a few things that makes you think twice about visitng USA again. The first would be the exchange rate and second would be the tipping culture. We don't tip in Australia so to tip at a starbucks of 18% is honestly outrageous. Why am I tipping someone who are just simply doing their job? Happy to tip if the service was exceptional but this is just your standard daily job task. I get the standard wage may be low and they rely on these tips but it's hard to grasp the concept. Sure, there's an option not to tip but we heard thats not the etiquette. Since we are not from a tipping culture we dont know any better.

I love the energy of the city! It is important to be close to Times Square to access theatre and the arts. We loved the food at Angelina's on Broadway. I also have a special fondness for Sarabeth's Kitchen. Our walk through Central Park was wonderful as the weather was perfect!

A must see city in the US, always busy no matter where you go so plan out a basic schedule of places to see and be sure to use google maps, even if you get lost just hook up to any Starbucks, McDonald’s or any fast food places WiFi to get you back on track. Encourage anyone to make use of the subway so easy to understand, tap on pay plus pretty cheap and run all hours. If you plan on going to museums then try to limit bags because it’s a bit like going through the airport and they will wand you, don't be rude they just take security seriously. Most of all be prepared to walk absolutely miles to maximise your trip, you might get the odd character on the subway but just keep to yourself and enjoy your trip

My recent stay was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Hotel Manager Allen. The hotel's prime location near Times Square allowed me to explore the city effortlessly, and the breakfast offerings were impressive in both variety and quality. Hotel staff reacted and responded well to initial problems: luggage not brought up to our room after repeated attempts to get them to do so and initial room too small for us. We were offered different, more spacious corner room with great Times Square views, but even then, had to move luggage ourselves, even though we were told it would be taken care off. Partial refund offered, which was appreciated. Location unbeateable for Times Square area and transportation options to rest of Manhattan and beyond.

The location is superb, it's a centric location, tons of subway stations nearby, a lot of restaurants, hell's kitchen etc... This is my third time staying at the Pod Times Square and I love it. Times Square is pretty close, broadway as well. Tons of restaurants and pretty much the whole of Manhattan is reachable from the Pod Times Square location. I totally recommend the Pod, and of course I'll be staying at Pod Times Square next time I'm in New York!

If you want to be near Times Square without being smack bang in Times Square, this hotel is a good option. Also near Central Park. Hotel was nice, not quite the same cookie cutter experience as with a lot of the chain hotels which is always a refreshing experience . Rooms were spacious enough and had good amenities. Liked having the ice water available in the lobby to keep hydrated. Got a discount voucher for a restaurant nearby.

This hotel was very central to all we wanted to do in NYC. Check-in was easy, the room was fine as expected (very bare and minimal as expected) and the process was easy. I wanted a cheap, budget friendly, no frills place to stay, and this was perfect for it. Awesome location, affordable, and had just what you needed and nothing more (or fancy). You're in NYC, no need for a super nice hotel, get out and enjoy the city!

The Warwick Hotel is in a fantastic location 5-10 mins walk from Times Square. Perfect base to get to all major attractions with subway stations close by but far enough away from the lights of Times Square so as not to disturb your sleep.
