Our Complementary breakfast was presented in a picnic basket at doorstep at bottom of the staircase to be carried up the narrow steep staircase. Very traditional "countryside" menu.
The entire accommodation was very "French countryside" basic from the 19 century motif. Sparse yet comfy.

Convenient location, close to a major road. The room was nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were great. Steve recommended a very nice restaurant and places to visit. We loved his oversized paperweight on his desk. That he carried 3 miles! Coffee and banana bread were delicious! We enjoyed talking with Steve!

I had to leave early for work 5 AM so I didn’t get to have breakfast. My husband and son both enjoyed their breakfast at 630 before they went off to work and school.

Clean and comfortable. Great location, right on the water. Friendly, professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the kind gentleman on the dock who explained about the fish in the area. Lots of parking, too.

Only a couple of restaurants, but on water, with lovely views! Location is great, near the must-see, fabulous Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay!
Quaint shops, antiques, art galleries, just enough, not over-whelming. Marston House Wiscasset...beautiful French Antiques!
Beautiful, historic homes to walk around. Two casual options to get your lobster rolls & sit outside by the water!

Breakfast was adequate but need to have different service timing. Food was tasty but not heated enough. Cold pancakes - fine flavor and texture but cold when received. Didn’t feel should have to “nuke” them.

Wiscasset is one of the prettiest towns on the mid-Maine coast. Aggravating to visit right now because of the on-going work to replace the downtown sidewalks. But no pain - no gain. Lovely walks can be made along the back streets. Shops and antiques are high end - not for bargain hunters. A variety of restaurants are in walking distance from each other. We ate at the Water Street Kitchen and Bar, which is a short walk along the river from downtown, and it was excellent.

Wiscasset is a charming little village along route 1 with a pretty view of the Sheepscot River. Red's Eats and Sarah's were both great! The sidewalks roll up early in this small town though, as most places close around 8pm or so.
