Bluegum Hill Guesthouse has the most magnificent views over Table Bay, The Waterfront, The Harbour and the beaches of Bloubergstrand across Table Bay. Our Self Catering Apartments are in the same street as the guesthouse within 2 minutes walk from the guesthouse itself. The Guesthouse & Apartments are about 3 to 5 minutes drive to the City, about 5 to 7 minutes drive to the Waterfront. We recommend using an UBER to return home as its uphill and a bit far to walk! We do not recommend to walk to town at night. UBER is great to get around easily, safely and inexpensively if you do not have a car. We take great care of our guests and are very service orientated, as are our lovely Staff who are really wonderful and are always ready with a smile! Bluegum Hill Guesthouse is comfy and relaxed, all our rooms are individually decorated. Enjoy wonderful views throughout the house, and whilst enjoying our delicious home cooked breakfasts! The Guesthouse & Apartments are on the topmost road on the slopes of Signal Hill giving us our fantastic views... there are a good amount of stairs leading from the street to the guesthouse & apartments as we are on a hill! We think the views are well worth it and make up for the stairs! Unfortunately the stairs are not suitable for anyone with any disability or limited physical capability, although the stairs are generally easy to use for most of our guests, as they are nice and wide with handrails. Early Arrival - Guests are very welcome to arrive from 9am onwards to drop their bags, collect keys and can relax here until check in at 2pm. Arrival Flights after 9pm - please book an airport transfer with us for access to the guesthouse & apartments. Arrivals after 6pm by arrangement only please, as we do not have 24 hour reception. Please make sure we have your approximate arrival time here - so we are here when you arrive. We look forward to hopefully having you to stay with us! Thank you!
