Inns in Kandy

We spent two nights in two rooms, both were excellent, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Location is great as it is close to the back entarance of the temple of the tooth so you can get to the city while avoiding the traffic. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of dishes local and continental. And every day the owner insisted on giving us more food to take for lunch. Finally the host was amazing, we were lucky to stay there when the owner was there. She was so welcoming and did everything in her power to make sure we have everything we need. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely the best place in Sri Lanka that I have ever been .Every thing was super clean and we enjoyed every single moment there .also the owner was so nice and respectful and help us about our next step in Sri Lanka .do I recommend this place ? 100 percent, if you have a chance to go there don't miss that

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Very helpful and attentive to any question/issue you have. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Conveniently located by the side of the main road. Walking distance (50m) to a small supermarket. Great inhouse breakfast. One of the most value for money places you can get in the area. Highly recommended for budget travelers looking for a comfortable stay!

The hospitality of the owner mam is fantastic and very helpful. Always smiling, friendly. Nice place with a balcony view, clean and wide beds, bathrooms. It was more like staying at a family member's place than a strangers place.

The best place in Kandy for staying. Calm environment, close to city & friendly staff. Also the cleanliness is in high level.

Owner is a kind and jolly fellow. He sings songs very well. We sang John Lennon, Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan during breakfast. Breakfast was very nice, he prepared local veg cuisines for us and buffet menu has several items. He is straightforward in approach. Nice for the given price range.

Amazing scenery and wonderful people!!!

We were glad to stay in Stellar Inn in Peradeniya instead of Kandy. (Kandy is only 7 km away) Peradeniya is not touristy at all and we actually like it that way better. We got to experience a more authentic Sri Lankan town. The hotel is new, modern and very clean. The room size is large. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the AC works great. There is a kettle, cups, tea and coffee and water in the room. The Royal Botanical Garden is within walking distance and we thouroughly enjoyed it! Initially we planned on staying here 1 night but because we liked it so much we stayed 2 nights. The staff and manager were very helpful and accomodated our special requests. After we left the hotel and were well on our way to another town, the manager called, informing us that we forgot our Apple tablet in the room! He then promptly worked on having it sent to us via a reputable courier Domex. We received the tablet the following morning! The courier cost was only 1000 LKR.
