Wonderful visit accept that this is a rescue haven and many animals have to stay here as they are not able to go into the wild again They so great work and gave me an audio guide in English to use during my tour There were some totally unjustified reviews on Trip Advisor this is nothing like a zoo Go and see for yourself and buy something from the shop this is a charity and needs supprt
There is not really much conservation going on here but hey its worth a visit to see a Toucan. The heat and humidity of the forest will make you sweat heavily the whole way - but dont worry because so is everyone else.
This isn't a zoo and is quite low key but there are some interesting animals with sad stories being cared for. The little train inside the sanctuary goes about once a hour. I took the 10am one and was finished by 11:30.
