We have booked the Junior suit. The welcoming was heart warming, front desk was super friendly! The room is very airy, cozy with special design. It was well equipped with free bar and coffee capsules. Closet has enough room. Shower is big, there was always hot water along with heating system in the bathroom. Its location COULD NOT be better!!

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 820 feet from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg....

A wonderful hotel located on a peaceful, quiet hill overlooking Salzburg, meaning you get an absolutely amazing view of the city and the mountains in the background, especially in the morning and evening. The room was exceptionally clean and nice, with a walk-in shower in the bathroom (personally love this) and a comfortable bed. High praise for the breakfast and the friendly staff who spoke English which is often times uncommon in Austria. This will be my first choice for any future stays in Salzburg (the only downside is the location is less accessible if you don't have a car).

A 10-minute drive from the center of Salzburg, Hotel Frauenschuh is located in the quiet and green district of Leopoldskron-Moos.

very nice rooms and the view is incredible! Close location to Salzburg center but also totally calm and surrounded by nature. Very nice Sauna, actually 2 Saunas and steambath. Excellent breakfast! total recommendation
