Very well decorated rooms, and the location

We were checked into a corner room overlooking the promenade. Very good size room with a balcony overlooking the promenade and a full view of the mountains. The hotel sits atop a nice little restaurant with delicious food and supper friendly staff. The hotel manager who also happens to be from the family that owned and the ran the place for the past 70+ years is incredibly pleasant and friendly. He would check on us and give us hints where to go and what to do whenever he saw us. We loved the place so much that we extended our stay by a day. If it was not for pre-booked travel plans, we would have stayed a few days more. Gstaad is a gorgeous place.

Amazing location, 3 minutes walk to the balloon festival, polite, helpful and welcoming staff. Good breakfast, perfect views from the window, gives great winter chalet vibes!

Believe me, it’s a great place!

I like my room very much. It provided enough space for us to rest. I like the restaurant, served delicious food.

We really enjoyed our stay and we are fully satisfied! Just for information: check-in and breakfast are at another Hotel (Kreuz), which is located very close to Alpina (5 minutes walking).

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed, terrace overlooking the mountains, delicious breakfast with great coffee, an easy 15-minute walk to downtown.

Mediterranean merits a Michelin star, Chinese outstanding, Italian/pizza - best thin crust pizza A note on ski: Saanenmöser 10. -14 min by train then 4 min walk to gondola

Location is amazing. make sure that you take the mountain view room. staff were great and smiling. parking is available and is Free, there is electrical car charges EV available.
