As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.

During the day, the Lindenhof hill offers a stunning vista of the heart of the old town, Niederdorf, which is filled with shopping avenues, winding alleyways and restaurants. At night the many club doors open offering a range of live music and DJs.

There is a 62 years old man who works and lives there and his name is Oscar. He made sexual advantages on me, once I caught up on his negative intent, I was trying to keep the conversation neutral, and respectful. Once I avoided his flirtatious behaviour and physical touch of my bottoms while in the kitchen, he started to attack my character by calling me names. Be mindful of his approach as it can be deceiving, calculating and mean. Zurich was beautiful. I definitely want to return to Switzerland to enjoy the rest of its beauty. 4 days was a good amount of time but if here for longer i would travel more. the train services are supper efficient with tourist information & friendly locals on hand to assist you if required. Hotellet: Rooms are good with a small kitchenette and cooking utensils. Good bathroom and the water is hot. The shower curtain should be replaced and installed with hooks that run easily. Very difficult to pull it. When registering online I get a code. It turns out on arrival that it is not to be used when room 008 is assigned. Later after check in I get an email with the room number and code for a key box and a message that the key is in a key box. Since there is a key box by the front door I think it is the one - but the code cannot open the box. An employee is called who finds out that the key box is next to the door to room 008. It took a long time. It should be clearly stated in the email that it is the box by the room door. The door to room 008 cannot be locked. There is a lot of noise from the trams running in the street until midnight. Very annoying. It was difficult to get programs on TV. One of the bedside lamps won't turn on. Lovely! A city worth visiting.
Lovely! A city worth visiting. Very expensive for food and drink in restaurants and cafes. Very expensive retail as well if your a shopper. We were unaware that we would be in Switzerland on a holiday weekend so check out your dates before you go. Lots of things were closed and all retail were closed. Took several tours, the food walking tour was a great hit as was Mt. Titilis. We also did the Rhine waterfalls and Mt. Pilatus. Both Titilis and Pilatus stopped in Lucerne, however, not enough (1 hour) time to do or see anything. Absolutely love Switzerland! Incredibly clean, beautiful, wonderful water and nice people! You can take a train from the city center and it takes only 10mins. You need to talk around 2mins from the train station. It was one of the cheapest option in Zurich with good quality in my opinion. I stayed in 4 beds room and it was comfortable. My bed was comfortable enough. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. I asked some questions and they answered with pleasure.
