Hotels near Dongsi Station, Beijing

The location is unbeatable (very close to the subway, as well as the Forbidden palace), and the staff were extremely friendly. Jessica went out of her way to help us figure things out, including booking a car and driver for a trip to the Jinshangling section of the Great Wall. She also helped us navigate the food delivery app (MeiTuan on Alipay) on the first night when we were exhausted. The rooms are on the smaller side, but extremely comfortable, and they have everything you might need. Some people in the reviews seem to have noticed some noise, but we didn't.

We appreciated the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious tea breaks and breakfast. The hotel is a peaceful place, displaying traditional local architecture with carp pond and green trees. The room was comfortable for our family.

Love how well designed and pretty it is. It sits at the heart of a fun and hip area in Beijing. Very accessible and so comfortable!

Where to start... we loved it, and would definitely stay over again! The room was very spacious. It's super well located, between two subway stations, has loads of restaurants nearby, a large supermarket, coffee shops etc. Staff was great, really accommodating and helpful. I also liked the breakfast: we had both the western and Chinese versions, and you should try the Chinese version as well, it was delicious!

The hotel was excellent—very new, clean, and modern, with great facilities. I especially loved the hair dryer! The airflow was really strong, so it dried my hair very quickly. The location was also great. It’s only about a 100-meter walk to the subway entrance. There’s a congee restaurant right across the street that opens as early as 6 a.m., and there’s a large supermarket on the other side, which was very convenient. The reception staff were polite, friendly, and very attentive. The room came with four complimentary bottles of drinking water every day, and there was also free water and snacks available in the lobby downstairs if you wanted more. The hotel smelled really fresh and pleasant, and there was absolutely no smell of cigarettes. There’s also a shared laundry room, and the washing machines looked very new and well-maintained. When we checked out, the hotel even gave us a little souvenir, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay!

We loved our stay! While we didn't pay for the breakfast package, we ended up eating breakfast every morning at the hotel. The room is great, the staff are friendly, and the courtyard (with cats) is a great break from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. We will be recommending the Dasein Youlan to all of our friends.

I booked this hotel because it had only 1 previous review which was a bit savage but gave no details, and I was curious. The hotel didn't deserve such a bad review, the room was clean and although facilities were a bit basic, there was hot water and I was able to shower. Hotel is in a hutong and if you walk south a bit you come to Shijia Hutong where there is a little museum with lots of interesting facts about the people who lived there and the role they played in the history of China.

The location of the hotel was great - in a great neighborhood. The courtyard was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Luxury, friendly staff, location is perfect walking to Wnagfu street

It shows the renovations, so the hotel facilities are excelent, making you feel in a real hutong. Super friendly staff across the board, with great communication even before arrival. Late check in. Breakfast with great quality and variaty. Also they gave us an welcome drink in the bar.

No halal food around. Rest is best if you take your food along

The location is perfect, if you like to walk it’s easy to go everywhere and if not, the subway station is just a minutes far.
