A stay at this hotel by the Yulong River in Yangshuo was an absolute treat! Tucked away in nature’s embrace, the property offers a serene escape. The "mirror of the sky" is a standout feature, reflecting the majestic river and surrounding mountains, creating picture - perfect moments. Gazing out of my window, I was greeted by breathtaking views of the flowing river and lush greenery, a sight that soothed my soul. The afternoon tea was a delightful indulgence, with an assortment of scrumptious pastries and refreshing beverages. What truly made my stay memorable, however, was the staff. Their friendliness was infectious, and they were always eager to offer help and share local insights. This hotel is a gem that combines natural beauty, delicious treats, and warm hospitality seamlessly.

Very nice location, beautiful view from the balcony. The walking path was passing just in front of the resort. You can also have bikes and cycle in the countryside very easily. Not far from the bamboo rafts starting point.

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.

The only hotel nearby has cute ponies. The service at this hotel is excellent—the staff are kind, professional, and always ready to help. It truly feels like a home away from home, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, neat, and comfortable, with everything I needed. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough every day. I slept well and felt very relaxed during my stay. The location is also great—close to everything, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions—great value for the quality.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were super warm and welcoming. The hotel is located in a great spot and it is close to many main attractions, but still quiet and relaxing. Our room was super clean, and the view of the mountains was beautiful. Would totally stay again if we come back to Yangshuo^^
