AustraliaGreat location, very good breakfast, especially the famous Guilin rice noodle. But I particularly love the artistic decorations throughout hotel and room with traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy and wooden furniture, some of them are real antics. Only regret is I that we stayed there only one night as a transit point to Yangshuo ferry.

Sri LankaThe location was near enough to the city but far enough to be calm and quiet. We were able to walk and cycle around the countryside. The staff members were very sweet and helpful. They organized day excursions for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The room we as comfortable and the bathtub a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

AustriaIt was a perfectly organized stay. We messaged the property via booking.com to get a transfer from train station and tours to Longji rice terraces and Li Cruise organized. Everything was duly noted and executed. We were picked up by the driver at the train station (it was a free pick-up included in the price because we stayed for 3 nights). Next day the driver took us to the docks and handed tickets for the Li Cruise. The other day English-speaking driver Peter picked us up and we drove to the Longji rice terraces. Before going to the terraces we cooked a bamboo rice and visited minority village. Also we had one more free day when we arrived, and the receptionist showed us the points of interest to visit in Guilin (lake with Pagoda twin towers, elephant trunk park, etc.). The staff does not speak any English but we were able to communicate fluently via WeChat (there is a built-in translator there), Google translate and other translator apps. So in general we had no communication issues.

United StatesThis is a very modern and contemporary boutique hotel in a historic village located in the outskirts of Guilin. The staff, amenities, facility, decor, and food were all impeccable! Everyone was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip extra enjoyable and memorable. We can’t wait to return to Guilin again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Guilin without the hustle and bustle of the city life. It’s affordable and easily accessible by taxi to any parts of the city. Also a short walkable distance to the reed flute cave, which is a must visit in Guilin as well.

It's next to the amazing Reed flute cave as well. There are nice local restaurant and the price is reasonable. It's locally owned and situated inside a modern village. The owner was friendly and helpful. He provided information about Guilin and helped my father and me booked a tour to Longji rice terraces. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes walk to Reed Flute Cave. The cave opens 8 AM. My father and I went to the cave the day we checked out.
