The room was clean with a gorgeous mural. If you're looking for the older part of town close to lots of shops and quiet residences this is the place to be. There's a more populated area within a short walk that offers everything from fancy dinners to souvenirs. They made sure we made it safely to and from the hotel. Lots of nearby restaurants and it's in an older part of town which gives it authenticity. The staff are very friendly and also can't do enough for you. Even booked a trip to the Great Wall for us. They also have local knowledge which was important to us. The place is very clean and the rooms we had were super comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Great rooms, ac, bed and bathroom. The included airport shuttle bus is what made me choose it. I needed something for one night and the place was great.
