Hotels near Grillo Theatre, Essen

Friendly staff, great location - although really close to the railway station, it was extremely quiet and convenient. Great spot to stay when you're in business in Essen. I've stayed at 10th floor and the views were great - also during summer working AC did wonders.

The location is great and the people are super friendly.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, fan. Breakfast had a lot of options and staff was very attentive. Central location and friendly and always reception.

Amazing location, central Essen, modern, quiet, very nice hotel. Room was perfect, had everything needed. Bed slept very well and the breakfast was nice too

Everything, great value for money. Close to the train station, has a free parking in front, clean.

The location is great with easy access to the U11 train to Essen Hbf. It's also next to Grugapark, a large park with gardens and a great place for a morning run. If you drive and are willing to walk a bit, you can find free parking in the neighborhood around the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom and shower. The windows had metal shutters, which were nice for keeping it dark to sleep in. The breakfast was tasty, but a bit expensive.

I liked the rooms, they are fancy and clean. I liked the easy check in.

We chose the hotel because of spa facilities. It really nice to have sauna after a day of travel, and nice big pool.

Fascinating historic building, beautiful and spacious bar area. Rooms offer everything you need.

Everything especially bed and the big bathroom

The staff makes it wonderful, all the team very polite and well trained and make you feel comfortable and always ready to help and the cleaning crew is very friendly and clean, honestly whenever I come to this city definitely they are my first choice .

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, it was a great spread. Staff was quick and prompt, and there's always plenty of space in the morning.

The room was great, clean and comfortable bed. Very good for an affordable price.

We dropped our luggage one day before, and check-in earlier (around 11am). Everything was smooth.
