The place was newly renovated. It was spectacular, with a lot of attention to detail in every single suite. The location was in the heart of Santa Clara Plaza, in the center of the historical city. And the staff was super nice. I arrived about 8 AM, and they checked me in. The food was great, tailored to your needs, with a personal chef. The place was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The service was fantastic. The room was perfect. Beyond what I expected. Every question was answered immediately. Fantastic communication. This is a new hotel that everybody should experience. Especially if you are interested in visiting the old city. I will definitely come again and probably bring groups in the future. The location is excellent in the historic centre, near everything and quiet. Staff and owners always warm and welcoming and helpful with information. I came and went several times as I explored the area, including 2 weeks in Galapagos. They safely stored my luggage in a locked room free of charge. It's an old building with many floors, wooden floors and small bathrooms. But for the price everything is adequate. There is kitchen and fridge. I recommend this place.

Amazing staff, very friendly and attentive. Luckily there weren't too many guests during my short stay, so it was peaceful and quiet, perfect to recover ;) thank you so much guys :)

Incredibly classic building, with a courtyard with balconies and lot pf plants, and a nice tunnel dining room!

Very good location if you want to use public transportation to go around. Extremely friendly staff, they even let me check in already early in the morning. The room was quiet and had everything I needed, also an amount of blankets, so it did not feel cold at night. Breakfast on the roof floor, simple, but enough to give you a start to the day (bread, butter, jam, juice, fruits and eggs). As I made reservation long time ahead, the price was very affordable.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Casa San Marcos. It is a very atmospheric historic hotel, with great views of the city. It was fun exploring the hotel. and all original features. It's in a quiet but central part of the old city, which itself is really enjoyable to explore. Everything is walkable. The staff were very helpful, and in particular were able to explain/sort out an issue I had with my return flight, when LATAM unexpectedly (without telling me) cancelled one of my flights.

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Definitely next level luxury in terms of service and comfort.

The property is centrally located in the historic district of Quito. The hotel is immaculate and has beautiful furnishings. The hosts treat you like family and the breakfast is delicious!! Hernan is an experienced tour guide and has lived his entire life in Quito. He can arrange tours throughout the city as well as other cities and provides transportation in his car. We were able to take our time taking pictures and exploring the surroundings. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future with family and friends. We felt very safe in his hands.
