Alcazar de Segovia
Rising from a rocky outcrop at the northern edge of the city, the 900-year-old Alcázar of Segovia is one of Spain’s most visited monuments. Although famously one of the inspirations for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle, the Alcázar was originally conceived as a fort. It was re-modelled as a palace in the 15th century and today operates as a museum and military archives building.

The Alcazarl makes you think of Camelot and Sir Lancelot. It's huge and beautiful at the same time. You get to see much of the interior along with courtyards, gardens, and can even climb stairs in the tower for great views. A must for visitors to Segovia!Guest review byRonald PeterUnited States
