Packed with too many amusements and shops at the promenade-end for my liking - it gets very congested. Also disappointed that the 2nd entrance/exit (near the Grand Hotel) was blocked/closed when we came.
A superb Victorian pier with attractions for all ages. Continual maintenance seems to take place. Well worth a visit and hopefully it will remain in good condition for many more years. Too many piers have been loss, the nearest being Colwyn bay pier which finally was lost last year.
There are lots of little booths along the pier. Don't walk along eating your food/ ice cream. The seagulls will swoop in from behind you and snatch it. Sit or stand with your back against a wall. You have been warned!
Normally love this pier ,but it desperately needs work doing on it ,which ,it is having work done on it replacing boards , and hopefully the rest will follow when summer in full & little cabins are open ,kids rides it is a lovely pier just having some well deserved TLC done on it , make Llandudno proud it a main part of Llandudno ,
Very interesting Pier , benches all along the Pier to sit and enjoy the lovely views while eating your ice cream but not many toilet facilities which is a let down , nice little units selling a variety of things ....
Seems like a pier from childhood. Lovely to stroll along. Great bonus on the day we were there to actually see a real Punch and Judy show....in all its historical un po;itical correctness. Brilliant!
