Spacious bedroom Great location and close to the Tank museum

Perfect traditional country pub, nice comfy, clean, rooms and very good value for money.

Food was great. Railway station 75m away and nice walk up the road through bush clad hills and saw wild deer grazing. Also lots of rubbish.

Our room was very spacious - the room facilities were really great. Especially as we have a large German shepherd.

I can’t fault this visit. The room was stunning with really pretty views. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and cushions to choose from. It was just the right temperature. Immaculately clean and very quiet. Without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and I’m very discerning. Oh and breakfast was divine and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Just heavenly.

Room excellent; breakfast and meals very good. Mostly spent time at Bovonghton ton Tank Museum.

Lovely helpful staff, food was delicious, The rooms were comfortable & clean. Walk to Lulworth Cove was about 20 minutes (60+ years) Would definitely return.

The location, the view, the size of the hotel. The dinner and breakfast were both very good.

The staffs are so lovely. And the room so clean and comfortable.

Charming country pub close to the sea. Very cosy room and lovely staff. Good food

Breakfast was excellent, hot and tasty Location was brilliant.

Great room for the price, very comfortable bed, nice shower and clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely stay again.

Very clean and modern. Rooms large and comfortable beds. Bar and restaurant

It is situated close to the ferry port, therefore it was a really good choice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I even received a packed breakfast as I had to leave early for the ferry.

Danni, I think that was her name, was absolutely amazing! She truly loves her guests. Many greetings to you, Rudi

Every thing was brilliant we feel very comfortable in this hotel friendly people nice and clean room nothing to add

It’s charm, its elegance, its history and located in the centre of Corfe. Everything is within easy walking distance, such as Corfe Station, the Village Square, the Castle. We were fortunate to arrive at the Bankes Arms Hotel as the Flying Scotsman departed Corfe Station. The Bankes Arms Hotel have their own dedicated car park, making it stress free in finding a space to park. Lastly and very important, the staff are fantastic, couldn’t do enough for you. Don’t mention the delicious food, you will need to walk around the Village and the surrounding hills to make room for your next meal. All in all we loved our stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. The spacious bedrooms are comfortable and well serviced.

Beautiful hotel , very big and very nice room , very comfortable bed . Nice breakfast , very good restaurant and lovely staff . The hotel is located in the middle of a lovely small village walk distance to Corfe Castle and short drive from swange and other beaches .

Excellent location, free parking

Lots of character, very charming, the rooms are beautiful, great choice of tea and coffee and hot chocolate on the room, lovely breakfast and we had one really good dinner at night - sophisticated pub style

Beautiful room, friendly staff and excelent breakfast.

Lovely comfy double room. Clean and tidy! Everything looked like new. We did a cruise, and the room was right by the Quay, so it was incredibly handy! Communication was excellent. We constantly had instructions and guidance from the owner, which made the stay easy. Would definitely recommend, it is right opposite Poole museum and close to all amenities, plus it is in great condition!
