This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending...
This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending point for many of the city's bus routes so it all happens here. The downside is that it is also very busy. You access the walls to walk around from this gate entrance (on you left as you come into the city)Guest review byJoanSouth Africa

The apartment was great. New, clean, spacious, well equipped. Parking was easy too with a designated spot. The neighborhood was nice with market and restaurants nearby. Location was great, relatively close to the port from where boats leave for day tours and to the Old Town as well (even though we had a car we took an Uber to the Pile Gate and walked back - ~30min walk). Everything was clean and the location just can’t be beat for exploring Old Town Dubrovnik. The room includes an attached bathroom, TV, and mini refrigerator. We really enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning with a large selection.
