If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment just outside the old town. Get up very early and start your tour in Dubrovnik between 7 and 8 am. The Stradun is almost empty at that time. Between 9 and 10 the first boats and busses arrive and the main streets get overcrowded. A good time to start your walk on the walls. In the afternoon, when it's hot, visit Rector's palace, churches... Have a nice dinner and return to your quiet appartment (while the old town is noisy most of the night...)

Go early - Europe starts from 9am so if you want to see the Stradum without the crowds, around 8am will give you a much better view for photos that are not all photo-bombed by everyone else in love with this historic city.

Get in early to miss crowds, lots of cruises come in so check how many ships are in the day/days you are going in to town. Great place to people watch and have coffee or drinks and just relaxing and enjoy.

Nice vibe on the street.
Nice vibe on the street. Plenty of action but can get quite crowded. Busy in late September which should be off season so could be uncomfortable in mid-summer. Lots of walking tour groups clog up the streets.

Gets very crowded during the day but a wonderful place to stroll in the evenings when the air cools down and you can walk up and down with an ice cream. The kids playing along and old couples walking hand in hand, brings a smile to once face.

The main strip of Old Town.
The main strip of Old Town. Insanely crowded, but that in itself can be fun for people watching and the pure chaos of of all if you know what to expect! Take a right or left into the tiny alleys for a totally different experience.

The communication with owner was very good and effective, the location is convenient very close to Buza Gate and Stradun but unfortunately there was very loud music in one of the bars nearby which was making lots of noise until 3am. The apartment was clean and well equipped with kitchen / bathroom supplies. The bed was comfortable to sleep in.
Great location in old town. Very quiet but with easy access to Stradun and the old port. Apartment was on the ground floor and was in excellent condition.
Mebura's apartment rooms were very nice and clean. Our 2 families enjoyed staying at her place with ample rooms for the kids to share. Mebura was a fantastic host and provided swift answers before and throughout our stay. The location was right along the main Stradun street with the entrance facing a parallel lane away from the public eye.
The location is the best possible. One block from Stradun, which is the center of everything and even so, it was totally soundproof. Gašper, the host, was very kind and helpfull. Gave hints on all the things in Dubrovnik and even on the rest of my trip. Impossible not to give it a 10.
The location is inside the city walls of Dubrovnik, about 5 sets of steps off the Stradun (the historic walkway). It was easily gotten to and found. We were in the midst of it all, with restaurants located steps away and the historic district located a few steps more.
What a great location! It’s located right on the Main Street (Stradun) inside the city walls. Right near the Pila gate. Host was awesome and attentive.
Beautiful interiors of the apartment and Nespresso pods! Will definitely return!
Location was perfect. Staying on Stradun is place to be when in Dubrovnik. Best value for the money. Host Kristina was friendly and was extremely responsive and professional.
Slavica is a wonderful friendly host! She met us at the apartment upon arrival and was super helpful throughout the stay.
We loved this apartment and felt like “locals” in the old town. It is a unique style (cool kitchen built into the rock wall), is close to The Stradun and all the sites but far enough away from the bars/restaurants to be lovely and quiet at night. Very happy with our stay!
R&C Apartment is a great place in Old Town. The location cannot be beat. Just steps from the Pile Gate and right off of the Stradun (which was important because I had a disability when we visited. The apartment is very well furnished and modern. It has many nice touches and the kitchen was fully equipped. The owners even left us some things to get started. Speaking of, the owners were very easy to communicate with and answered a number of our questions... Great. I would return and recommend this place to my friends.
Very nicely located within a 5 minute walk (with no stairs) from the Pile Gate entrance in the Old Town. Located on a side street lined with restaurants, the apartment was quiet and removed from the large crowds roaming the Stradun. The accommodations were great with fully equipped kitchen, sitting area and the rear patio that was a nice place to sit and plan our days. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortably sized. Would stay here again.
