The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had delicious strength- I enjoyed it. I wish I could stay longer. The size of the room was good, plenty of space and storage, bath robes and sleeper shoes. The coffee was also very good and we appreciate the complementary water and coffe. Just 8 minutes walking from the main square and The market - nice walk, very central.

Disappointing for a Supposed 5-Star Hotel I chose this hotel based on the 5-star rating on Booking but unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations. The photos online are much more impressive than reality. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, so guests can’t adjust the temperature in their own rooms, the safe didn’t work, materials of low quality, basic breakfast (blueberries only in the pictures), in conclusion: room felt more like a simple motel.. old carpet, basic furniture and a basic desk with water bottles and snacks on top of it... This is not the level of comfort, amenities, or service I would expect from a true 5-star hotel. Would not recommend.

It's the oldest, and dare I say, classiest hotel in Zagreb. It is our hotel of choice whenever we visit, which is now up to 9 stays. You really cannot go wrong choosing this place...two great restaurants, and if you want to venture into the city proper, it is only about a 10 min walk.
