This place is as close to Paradise as it gets. When you dream of going to Bali, this is the dream, traditional carved wood joglos nestled in the Sambalan Hills, amongst lush tropical plants and flowers, with the most lovely infinity pool with serene Buddha. Staff is totally on top of it. Place is tended and spotless. I was in Padma Joglo and it was a palace truly. Staff is lovely and helpful. Restaurant food is delicious especially yummy chicken satay.

Very relaxing place to be. Great for a holiday where you want to disconnect from everything. The pool was great. Staff were super helpful. I had a very relaxing massage. The rooms looked exactly like in the ad. I really liked the outdoor bathroom vibe.

We had some travel issues due to our flight being cancelled, so this meant we arrived at the hotel in the early hours (4am) but we were so pleasently surprised to find someone to receive us and our rooms ready. Our trip was quite special given the fact that we were getting married at a nearby waterfall, but this hotel was the perfect place to return and celebrate with our little ones and relax. The staff were exceptional and so were management, you can really tell they enjoy their work and get on well with management. Bali is a place thats been exploited alot by foreigners, so this hotel is perfect for the travel concious as it's owned by a Balanese couple. I traveled here with my two kids (5 & 9) and they really didnt want to leave this hotel, it felt so homely and safe. Thank you team and hope to visit again soon The Bartlett family!

This hotel is very nice. They have a huge garden + a big swimming pool where you can relax with a nice ocean view. You also have a big restaurant where you can eat and if needed order drinks. The staff is also very helpful and nice. I originally booked here only 3 days but have extended my stay several times since it made me feel very comfortable / relaxed.

We loved our seven days at The Manja. It was so relaxing in the beautiful gardens and swimming in the pool. The rooms are spacious and everywhere is well maintained and clean. We ate there every night enjoying the vegetarian choices. The staff are really friendly and treated us like royalty. Would highly recommend The Manja and wish them well.

    The property is located in such a gorgeous area, very close to the Sekumpul waterfalls. It is only a few minutes scooter ride to get to most of the main attractions. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and you felt right at home! Food was also delicious, very authentic Indonesian options as well as some western options

    If you want to visit the Sekumpul waterfalls in the morning, this is the perfect place for you. The cabin is located around 5 minutes from the entrance (where the stairs start) and close to the water slide as well. The host can help you with a guide at a very good price (we recommend getting a guide as the path to the waterfalls is not very obvious). The house is pretty remote, but there is a warung close by (Fiji Warung) and the host can help with meals as well, we had indonesian dinner delivered to our room.

    Amazing view over the mountains and the ocean. Huge balcony. And very friendly owners. Sekumpul waterfalls is just next to the BnB and they are super beautiful (if you want to be alone go in the early morning, 6am)
