It was just lovely all round. The room was spacious and comfortable beds. The spa treatments and vitality pool were great and the complimentary bicycles were a lot of fun to use to see the local sights. The location was ideal for access to the Ring of Kerry and in the Killarney National Park.

We liked everything, the scenery, the staff, the location, the attention to detail, the showers. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were extremely helpful and there was nothing they would not do for you.

This charming little hotel is located in the rolling hills just outside the vibrant town of Killarney. It is a beautiful old building from the mid 1800s, updated with many comforts in pleasing grounds. By far the most outstanding feature is the staff; a group of mainly young people dedicated to making one's stay as comfortable as possible. And always with a smile! Rooms are sizable and comfortable, and everything runs so well. Our little doggie made many friends from various parts of the world. Breakfast offers an enormous choice of continental dishes as well as ample-sized cooked variety, some very endearing.

Lovely clean room, large comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. Very nice fresh breakfast. Location superb in centre of town. Lady at reception and breakfast was very welcoming and friendly and I apologise for not getting her name. Couldn’t fault anything.

Ladies View

The Old Cathedral looks great from whichever angle you choose to gaze at it. The ornate apse is spectacular, the frescoes funky, the carvings impressive. But the best view might just be from above. For a small fee, you can climb up to the galleries to look down on the cavernous nave, and even walk up the tower to take in the crenulations and roof carvings from up close.
