I loved everything about this hotel. I splurged after spending a week in Ladakh with bucket showers and hotels without electricity or hot water. This place was heaven. Upon arrival I was offered coffee and biscuits. The bed was so comfortable. The balcony view was gorgeous. If I had more time, I would have stayed an extra night and slept in pure bliss.

Lots of 5G towers in the marmet place, unfortunately, in Leh, so take some shungite for portection. Traffic free area and many beautiful items, Tibetan, Ladakhi and Kashmiri.....! Lots of restaurants too.

Spend time walking and exploring the cafes and shops.

Spend time walking and exploring the cafes and shops. The Ladakh Museum is a must go to place. The Ladakh palace - which is a taxi ride away, is also an amazing piece of history and views are exceptional. Do not miss.

I highly recommend a stay here! My top floor room was wonderful with a view out on the Palace. Breakfast was provided each morning to my room, and one could order lunch or dinner. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Main Bazaar, and in a quiet neighborhood. The English-speaking host helped in any way, and even gave me a ride to the hospital when I needed some minor care. And a real value to be able to stay in a lovely house in the heart of Leh!

Perfect location and very modern hotel just .4 mile from Main Bazaar. Naman, the manager, is amazing in his service-orientation and attention to detail. His entire staff shows the same high quality. Room is very large, bathroom is totally updated, there is 24x7 hot water, power, and strong wifi. My balcony has spectacular view and an outside sitting area. Food/service are superb-they have buffets but I always ordered off menu—totally satisfied. There is a small courtyard with tables/umbrellas on ground level.

Location is a little far from the main bazaar, however it is tranquil and safe. Hired a trekking tour directly with the hotel, they processed the trekking permit for me and even the hotel owner lent me a warm jacket and gloves... Drinking hot/cold water available during the whole stay...

We truly enjoyed our stay at Snow Lion. The staff went above and beyond in their hospitality. They could arrange activities, drivers, make dining and shopping recommendations, and helped us acclimatize to the altitude. Rooms are simple but comfortable and there is plentiful filtered water. The garden is peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast and other meals are simple and hearty. The location is about 15/20 mins walk from the main bazaar.

Excellent stay. The staff are fantastic and really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple and tasty and rooms very comfortable and clean. The location is only a 5min walk from the Main Bazaar, once you know the laneway shortcut. It is very peaceful and quiet with a rooftop area with nice views of the area.
