We stayed at Ara Maris for 3 nights with a friend, and honestly, it was far too short – we didn’t want to leave! The hotel is beautiful, cozy, and located in a perfect spot to explore Sorrento and the surrounding areas. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional – warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Giulia at the concierge – she went above and beyond to help us make the most of our short stay. Thanks to her, we had an amazing tour and a car arranged to take us along the stunning Amalfi coast. That experience alone was unforgettable! The rooftop bar and restaurant is truly something special – not just for the views, but the whole atmosphere, service, and absolutely delicious food. It was one of the highlights of our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety and was served by such lovely staff. Everyone we interacted with made us feel truly welcome. If I had to say one “negative,” it’s only that three days were not enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious, with good air conditioning and a nice balcony. The plunge pool was nice as well. The hotel is in such a convenient location! Included breakfast is fantastic with endless options.

Amazing location and views over the Bay of Naples. Beautiful, historic building. Comfortable, large rooms. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (especially the room and restauramnt staff). The private jetty for sunbathing. High quality breakfast. I'm surprised its not a 5* hotel.

Service par excellence and rooms maintenance

Attentive staff , excellent location and very clean rooms. They changed the Air-condition filters when I told them that I have an allergy . Problem was resolved right away .

Lovely breakfast with choices. Great poolside food and friendly service. Location is excellent and the pool is in a pretty garden with lemon trees .

Right next door from the town center. Just 10 minutes walk from the bus/ train station, so it's very convenient. The staffs were so so so helpful and friendly! The bathroom was pristine, and four beds per room were just nice (not too crowded like other hostels). It really felt more deluxe than other hostels.

Everybody was so nice, breakfast was perfect. Staff was extra helpfull. Room was very nice and cozy, had a small terrase. Nice people staying in a this hotel, had really nice chat with some of tbe guests :)

On this trip we changed 3-4 hotels, but this hotel was the best, and room was big, with big terase. Staff was very helpful with information. Location was great. Everthing was perfect and we would like to come back.

Excellent location - short walk to train station and for SITA bus to Amalfi coast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean room with TV, kettle, tea, coffee and fridge. Good choice for breakfast. Great stay will definitely return if in area and would recommend to others.

You are at the perfect location. Period. Quick walk to the old town, the lookouts, the seaside lift (and to the good food, or train/bus hub), but apart from the crowd. All clean and enough space (for me, at least). As a nice bonus, you can admire little traditional inlay designs on the doors. Obviously I completely agree with what everyone else is saying about the exuberant and very helpful host, Claudio.

Convenient location. Helpful staff. Mariana and Francesca to name a few. Loved it so much extended our stay, which the front desk team made smooth and simple.
