Hotels near Ikeshita, Nagoya

Very nice hotel. It was the first hotel room in Japan that had decent lighting options (the name of this hotel is perfectly chosen). Also the walls were thicker than usually in Japanese Hotels, so that I could sleep without earplugs. Everything inside the room was carefully placed and it was very relaxing to sit on the little "couch". Even if the room was small, they were enough space for all my luggage to be placed in a tidy maner. The shower was great, too! The café/lounge area between the bookshelves was very cozy. The free welcome drink to try that area out was a nice touch. The staff was young and friendly. :)

Style. Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airport Explore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more night Rooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595 Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit !

Location was great. The house was comfortable and well equipped. House manual was very helpful.

I like the hotel and the staff were nice , the only thing is if you’re gonna swim you must bring goggles and cap , if not you must rent them there , kids are not allowed to swim … didn’t like that either cause I’m traveling with a toddler , everything else was ok

Nagoya traffic freaking sucks brah cuz they ain't got no free pass that lasts for 5 days like Tokyo but thx to the free rental bikes that this hotel provides, I was able to save up a lot of traffic expenses. Room was clean, warm shower, clean toilet... honestly you can't ask for more as a solo traveler. This place is cleaner and cheaper than your average love hotel lmao
