staff were great! Rooms were fine. the bathroom fan was a bit loud. AC was good but not intuitive for a gaijin. Recommend you have english instructions for the AC controller.

This hotel is a block away from Kashiwa station. The air conditioning can make the room go to about 67 degrees which is amazing when it is more than 95+degrees outside. Also the windows can open a little, so we could create a breeze inside the room for fresh air. There is an overhead shower in the bathtub, so we were able to take both bath and shower. It is very close to both a Lawson and 7-11, for food and a cash machine. Most of the staff speak English, so asking them to print romaji train maps was accomplished. The rooms are nice and quiet.

The location was fabulous--real near the train station but still quiet. The breakfast was also very nice, as was the public bath.

Hotel Trifito Kashiwanoha is set in Kashiwa, a 5-minute walk from Kashiwanoha-Campus Station.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwa-No-Ha is a 2-minute walk from Kashiwa-No-Ha Campus Train Station on the Tsukuba Express train line.
