Great place for people on a budget but still want good quality accommodation. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with as most can speak basic English. Good quality amenities for all basic things you need . Overall excellent experience and will stay again when I come to Tokyo. nine hours woman Kanda

Chiyoda, Tokyo

Conveniently located a minute away from JR Kanda Station, nine hours woman Kanda is a Capsule Hotel. Free WiFi is provided throughout the entire property.

Each air-conditioned capsule come with an electrical socket and lighting. Toothbrush, pajama and towels are provided in the private lockers. My daughter at 15 wanted to try a capsule hotel in Tokyo, so I started searching... now I feel very lucky that I chose this hotel for the first night (we took 3 different capsule hotels for our 4 overnights in Tokyo), because this one is relative easy, perfect for “beginners“ as we are. There are only 4 steps: 1. Check in 2. Put luggage in locker 3. Take a shower 4. Go to bed The staff are very friendly(but who’s not in Japan?), the local is very clean. Each of us got a bag at the check-in, which includes a hand towel, bath towel, bath mat, pyjamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, and disposable slippers. In each shower room there are shampoo, conditioner and liquid wash soap. The bed is harder then I am used to, but not so bad, I experienced much harder beds in China. I am so satisfied with this capsule hotel. If you are a beginner as well, I do recommend this hotel as a start.

Looking for a pod hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
