Calm and serene spot yet only one block from the beach and short walk to the port. With beautiful views of Fuji

Rooms.
Only 8 rooms. Was in lovely corner unit upstairs. A sanctuary with indoors and outdoors space. Bathroom looks recently renovated and connects to the outdoor onsen on my deck

The hotel is quiet, intimate, and in a nice residential neighborhood. Woke up early to perfect weather and strolled along the coast. Beautiful gardens with pine trees that I fell in love with immediately. Spa with saunas, indoor outdoor cold and hot baths filled with Fuji mountain ground water. Meals served in the fabulous Meiji-era tea house with attentive service
Food & drinks.
Excellent Chinese Japanese Italian fusion. Delicious meal with local ingredients supervised by chef Hirofumi Saito from Ichirin Hanare

United StatesVery helpful and polite staff. The breakfast was excellent, with options for every taste (¥1,650 per person if paid the evening before). We also enjoyed the free Happy Hour drinks from 5 to 8 p.m., which was a nice bonus. Free bicycle rentals were a great touch and made exploring the area easy and fun.
The location is fantastic — close to the ocean, with a beautiful river view from our room. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay!
