The owner provided convenience for us, especially for our transportation to Hongu Taihsha. Food was very fresh and unique. The owner even drive us to the bus station at very early morning so that we could catch up the earliest bus to Osaka.

I chose this place for the food and was not disappointed. Both dinner and breakfast were a feast of tastes, textures, and ingredients, all local and some (like the brilliant tofu and the rice tea porridge) made in-house. The room was spacious overlooking the river, and the outside onsen a wonderful treat after a day of travel. The personnel was kind and attentive, overall one of the best places I stayed in Japan. Cannot recommend more!

Fairly nice meals throughout my 2 night stay. Really nice facilities and onsen bath view. The outdoor one at sunset is really relaxing. There is a co-ed area between the baths to enjoy the view as well. Great location, close to the gorge.

The view from the parking lot is the only saving grace of this place. Other than that there was a plus in that the host was responsive via whatsapp.

The location is so beautiful. It overlooks the river and is really quiet. The rooms themselves were comfortable and clean. Everything looked new and the owner was extremely helpful.
