Helpful and friendly staff, I particularly like the spacious and comfortable lobby, well decorated with Chinese antique, a quiet and comfortable library corner and a mini bar with free coffee and snack. My room was upgraded free to a deluxe family room, with good Mountain View. The free shuttle bus is convenient to commute to the train station. Everything in the room is clean and well-designed to suit the needs of a family with kids. Kids will never feel bored with the toys in the room and the children’s playroom on the third floor! Highly recommended for family vacations.

Location is near to the train station so that's convenient. It took us 10min walk from train station, across a park, to reach the hotel. Easy, flat ground walk so it's ok if you are dragging a luggage. The hotel serves free tea, coffee and biscuits at the lobby so that's nice for us after we've checked out and had a bit of waiting time.

It was rated 4 stars on some websites, but it lacks facilities like gyms, a swimming pool, etc.... . At least the room is clean . I would say this hotel is more like a 3 stars hotel.

Tucked away in a quiet and seemingly rural part of Yilan. Outdoor onsen was amazing. They also have a decent in-room bath that you can run yourself. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and mostly delicious. Staff were friendly and warm. They even serve up free hotel supper at night, which is perfect after a soak in the outdoor onsen!
