Amazing and gorgeous hotel with an interesting historic background. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Has a variety of choices for food. Be sure to have some dollars on hand to tip. I had a roll away bed brought in and I think the guy wants assumed I would tip him, but I didn't have any small bills. I would love to take a tour of this hotel!

Great location, historic feel to the hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel for three nights to attend a Conference nearby, and I am very happy I chose this place. It is located in an old Chicago building in the Loop, within walking distance from train stations such as Jackson (Blue/Red line) or Harrison (Red Line). Somehow, I was upgraded to a double-king bedroom with ample space, a nice desk, a small refrigerator, and two big windows that provided great daylight. In short, my room was better than expected, as I was able to work from my laptop whenever necessary after enjoying long walks in the area. I also must say that the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location and a great price. It's a simple room with a bed and a side table with a few hooks to hang a jacket or towel. Rooms are private and clean.

I liked everything about the hotel. First, it is a good-sized room. I think that maybe booking either shows a room size without the bathroom or dimensions are wrong - as it really feels like room is larger than 10 sq.m. I was staying with a friend - and it was enough space in the room for 2 people with enough distance between the beds. Enough shelving for our stuff (we stayed 4 nights, they were just made as separate bookings). Bathroom is a decent size. Actually, shower itself is very spacious! Lots of towels. Good shampoo etc. Coffee machine in the room was also a nice bonus. We needed an iron - so it and a ironing board were provided upon request. Powerful hairdryer (so i didnt have any issues with drying my rather long hair). Cleaning was good. Gym is small but has all the essentials, so again - no complaints here. Staff upon checking in was very friendly and helpful (same throughout the stay). Location is perfect. That said, when/if im back in Chicago, i'll be happy to stay here again.

I loved this property. The location was a very short walk to Michigan Avenue. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and very beautiful. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

The staff were phenomenal. We received a text the day before arrival, our request for connecting rooms was honored (which made traveling with our kids so much easier), and the room was sparkling clean with everything in perfect working order. We were given an early check-in without even asking and also received a late check-out. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and smiling, and both check-in and check-out were incredibly fast. We’ll definitely be back!
