The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were excellent and so were the pillows. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was brilliant. We also had dinner and that was lovely. Our main reason for staying over was to play golf and a halfway house on route to Umhlanga

I loved that the property was situated in nature, an amazing water stream that runs past the breakfast spot making it tranquil. Loved the forest walk and the forest swing. Would have like to swim in the river but unfortunate we were here in winter. A bit cold. Really delicious breakfast every morning.

We loved everything about this beautiful property which is set in the most exquisite of surroundings. We were the only guests on this day, and arrived fairly late. Although the restaurant was closed, Rob and his wife, Lillian set up a roaring fire for us and personally cooked their famous "Trio of Sausages" for us. Their commitment and service to their guests went far beyond what was expected. We stayed in the two bedroom chalet which was cosy and found like home. The next morning when we got to see the view from the restaurant, we were astounded, it was breathtaking. Incredible hosting, incredible food, incredible scenery. Don't drive past this establishment without checking it out!

Beautiful bungalow, lovely furnishings, spotlessly clean. Quiet and peaceful. Views out over the hills, so restful. Excellent value for money - what a treat! Best of all was the service from the staff who responded promptly every time we made contact, and who proactively let us know in advance what the loadshedding times were.

    Beautiful part of the country.

    Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. We missed the TV but there is one in the lounge by reception

    Just the most excellent accommodation.

    Just the most excellent accommodation. Helpful owners and staff who accommodated us so well. All amenities are available. The staff help you with your luggage and are so welcoming and kind. I have never stayed in such clean accommodation and the location is perfect and so beautiful on a stunning, quiet Midlands farm. We also loved the historical architecture of the house. There are beautiful views from the rooms and you look onto horses in front of the accommodation.

    Very scenic, lots of interesting things to do on the midlands meander. Must see Ardmore ceramic gallery, must try blueberry cheesecake at Blueberry cafe … and visit their bathroom for an amazing experience 😃

    Scenic drives.

    Scenic drives. Many restaurants from which to choose and a variety of shops with many locally produced goods. A couple of nice pubs with home brewed beer. Use the Midlands Meander numbered guide and map, and avoid dirt roads that are out of the way

    they have a long list of good places to visit with good food served on various restaurants, this is a good place to unwind away from the City life. Really enjoy their wine farms, with variety of things sold that are required by everyone of the family- food, ice cream sale, coffee, light meals, pizza, factory shops

    We had the worst experience and we were treated so badly and...

    We had the worst experience and we were treated so badly and we were also spoken to in a very rude manner. The guest who were close to our tent confirmed they slept peacefully even though we were forced to pay for some guests who supposedly left because of our noise levels. No communication was made to even make us aware that we were disturbing the neighbours that particular night. We couldn't even have a proper conversation with the owners as she was already on a level that was impossible! We were utterly disappointed to say the least with such treatment
