    The Swartberg Pass needs to be experienced.

    The Swartberg Pass needs to be experienced. The views are magnificent and the engineering of the pass, by Thomas Baines, is an astounding feat, given that it was completed in 1886. I highly recommend the pass if you enjoy nature and particularly if you have an interest in geology.
