The staff is great, super kind and helpful. The hotel is a really small boutique hotel, with a personal touch and a lot of attention to the details. It was our anniversary and they surprised us with a beautiful cake and sweets, it was truly amazing experience. The place is very clean and well organized, breakfast is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far.

The owners went out of their way to make me feel at home immediately. Their attention to detail and communication was excellent. The space heater and drinking water were a nice touch. Loved the view, the classy cabin vibes, the location- right across from the lake! The breakfast was seriously the best I've had in my entire time in Sri Lanka! We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!
