Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A shirt was left behind and they contacted us with a method of having it returned.

Breakfast room was clean and bright. Foods were good ones, tasty.

Absolutely superb! Hotel Brouwerij Het Anker delivered an unforgettable experience. From the charming atmosphere to the exceptional service and, of course, the fantastic beers, every aspect was perfect.

Amazing location right off the canal and walking distance to all the local sights. It is a very clean property formerly an old fish market so there was a cool industrial vibe. We were fortunate enough to have the room overlooking the street and canal and were able to open the window to let in the smells and sounds.

When traveling with the car, most Hotels in Mechelen have no parking close by. You have to park in a parking garage, which is expensive and inconvenient. The Hobbit Hotel is very close to the Industrial area in Mechelen North and has a big parking area right in front of the Hotel. The Rooms are great, bed was fantastic with the perfect softness and high pillows. Everything was very clean, the service was more than excellent, people super friendly and also the breakfast was great. I will definitely stay in the Hobbit Hotel again when I visit Mechelen next time.

Lovely house in the very center of Mechelen. All very new, including a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen. The place and the service were 5/5. We stayed with 5 people and had an absolutely wonderful time!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an apartment in downtown Mechelen, and I can't say enough about how fantastic the experience was. The location is absolutely unbeatable—everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The apartment is just a 10-minute walk from the train station, which made getting around the city and beyond incredibly easy. Inside, the space is just as impressive. The living room is spacious and bright, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, ideal for preparing meals if you prefer dining in. One of my favorite features was the beautiful patio—such a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. Both bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, providing plenty of space to stretch out. The entire apartment had a homey feel, making it easy to settle in and truly feel like a local. The host was wonderful—responsive, friendly, and always available to offer recommendations for places to visit. I genuinely felt like I was living in Mechelen, not just visiting. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and great vibes, this apartment is the perfect choice!

The apartment is very spacious, clean, well furnished and we found complimentary water, coffee, tea, cooking spices at our arrival (nice welcoming gesture). The neighborhood is cozy and you have supermarkets and shops nearby. Parking is easy, 50-100m far from the apartment, it costs approx 6€\day (easypark app) but it's free at night and it has 2 charging stations

Cleaning and so quiet. Huge apartment. Great for family or big groups

The room (junior suite) was spacious, the bed was very good as also all amenities. But I would have preferred a walk-in shower due to my neurological disease.

Very good location, just near the Cathedral, close to all tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. I had to leave early so I did not use the breakfast option, unfortunately. All in all, value for money. I like contactless check-in and the electronic key.

Everything . Especially staying in a historical old house with much character

Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was exceptional. Within walking distance to all major sights. Close to train station.

The bed was great, the bathroom very beautiful and everything was exactly as described. I forgot something and the owners were very supportive and quick to react so that I could retrieve the forgotten item after checking out.

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. The location is incredibly convenient, allowing us to explore the area with ease. Private entry room with bathroom in a residential duplex. Very bright and clean, with a garden space. Near the Nekkerhof station and a short walk to the historcal center nearby. On the ground floor. Bring a pocket flashlight as it is dark at entry at night.Good bakery and a good Italian restaurant, Cristal, nearby, also a supermarket.
