Lodgings in Mendrisio

To be honest, I was quite afraid of booking this place based on other comments. However, I’m glad I did. The apartment is very new, about 5/10 minutes from the station. The furniture is great (there’s even a dishwasher). The automation system worked perfectly. Curtains inside and the sunblockers on the outside gives the perfect privacy. Everything you need to spend a couple of days in Mendrisio. 10/10. My only recommendation is regards to the check in process, which I had to reach out via WhatsApp to get the link to check in, but still they replied to me almost instantaneously, and I could check in without problems.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfest Chiarina. It is situated in a lovely village in a beautiful valley close to Mendrisio. The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.

Very nice quality. The owner is very helpful and provided us lots of stuff.

Beautiful little city and very walkable. The apartment was large and had everything we needed for a family.

The apartments are close to the FoxTown outlet shopping center in Mendrisio. The town is beautiful and is only a short transit to Morcote and other heritage listed locations in the Lugano region. The owner of the apartments is a brilliant host. The service is personal, helpful, and friendly while allowing full privacy for guests. The rooms are clean and very spacious with nice views.

Exceptional breakfast as usual and very good stay.

Great Breakfast buffet, great breakfast room, right besided the Mendrisio Train Station - fast and easy check in

We wish we had more time. This is one of the finest places we have ever stayed! The staff is warm and full of great info. This is a first class beautiful place!

3 minutes’ walk from the train station to the hotel, surrounded by mountains, with a lake right there and magical views. Breakfast included — perfect.

The breakfast had many options, and the staff did a great job at making me free at home.

Very clean and comfortable bed, right next to a bus stop

It is a very nice hotel, practical and easy to approach, with free parking, ideal position for workers and business travelers in the area. Amazing restaurant in the ground floor.

We only stayed one night. Simon was very friendly and helpful host. Room was nice with a lovely view. Nice to have a parking spot since we had a rented car. Nice quiet location close to Lake Como Italy. Recommended.
