Kaspari helped with check in and answered a bunch of questions for me. He was very helpful. Also my evening meal at the restaurant was top notch.
Comfortable, had required facilities, away from city noise and lights and hence good for aurora spotting. Direct access to Inari Lake
I liked the modern appeal and cleanliness of this property! We had our own private bath, mini kitchen, and comfortable bedding. We appreciated being able to wash and dry our clothes. It is also a campground for tents, cars, motorhomes, and RVs, and we loved the socializing between many people.
Staff, cleanliness, location, activities
Zona Sauna it's next to river and the experience is amazing. You should try it. Tha cabain was magic like a fairy tale, confortable and warm. In middle the woods.
Me and my kids liked this place so much! We definitely will come back once we are close to Inari. The centre is big and has many options for activities. It is located in a stunning location, directly next to the lake. There are chairs next to the lake where you can sit and observe Aurora mirroring in the lake. Unbelievable experience. The cottage was really big and quite well-equipped. The sauna is located in another building (not directly in the cottage), but no problem. The centre offers bikes, boats, sports equipment for football, minigolf, volleyball, ...for free. We used Kota as well and is perfectly equipped.
Everything was perfect. The staff is really nice. The place and the food are amazing. The best experience we had in Finland. Highly recommended!!
excellent food. Modern rooms. Kind staffs.
This is an amazing cabin by the lake front! Beautifully and thoughtfully done interiors and amenities. It was maintained well, spick and span!! The communication with Nilla has been easy, and he's available when there's questions. Otherwise the guide that he has prepared for the house has most of the questions answered. Remember to bring your groceries, since there're no shops close by (but being secluded from the town is also what makes this place special). We even saw northern lights from the cabin directly - thanks to the big wide glass panes! Overall we definitely recommend it - since this stay was 100% the highlight of our trip!
Convenient location. Can see Aurora just outside the house (if you’re lucky). Cozy and clean rooms. All of the equipments work properly. Kind owner.
Satu responded quickly when we had difficulty figuring out the clothes washing machine operation, and with other questions. The location is perfect, overlooking Lake Inari, and with easy driving to all the activities we had booked. The house is very well-maintained, with lots of natural light. We had everything we needed, and I would definitely choose to stay in the same place again. Highly recommend! [The photo is at sunset, looking out from the front of the house.]
The views were incredible. We loved the large windows, and that we could see the aurora and beautiful sunrises from the bed. The sauna was perfect. The decor in the living room was very nice.
Conveniently located near to the Siida Sami Museum, the lake cruise and on the path to the Wilderness Church.
Beautiful place, nice and comfortable accommodation, tasty (and almost all lactose free and mostly gluten free) food, friendly staff
It's truly in the middle of nowhere. There are just 3 cabins and a Sauna hut. Complete privacy, silence and beautiful trails to walk. One has to get the water from the hole in the frozen river few meters from the sauna. It's a bare bones wilderness cabin experience yet very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions. There is a wood fireplace in the cabin and the wood is provided. The huskies are nearby. They howl when the Aurora's are out.
We didn't have enough time, but there are lots of free activities you can do.
The Mokki was so comfortable and cozy for this solo traveler, and I thoroughly enjoyed the location just outside of town and away from the more touristy areas. Further, Christoph, Rosi, and Matt were so kind and helpful during my stay. I had everything I needed and even access to a snow suit and boots. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This is a cozy place for a solo trip, especially if your main goal is to chase the Northern Lights. For me, the most interesting—and challenging—part was lighting the fireplace every day. It’s not so easy for someone born and raised in a city who has never had the chance to try it before, but it was absolutely worth it. As for the Northern Lights, there’s a lake right in front of the cabin that feels like your own private viewpoint. It’s wide open, with zero light pollution, so you don’t need to drive anywhere else to see it. During my four-night stay, I was lucky enough to see it every single night, which was truly amazing!
