Perfect place to stay.. Close to one of the best spots to see the auroras (black of the Artikum museum). Clean & comfortable. At first we were looking for a hotel room but with the snow and the vibe of Rovaniemi this apartment was so cozy. Highly recommend.

We loved every bit of this experience - was reluctant to book initially as it was over what we would normally pay on accommodation, but it was worth every penny. The attention to detail of the hosts cannot be matched to anything we've experienced until now; all questions are covered before being asked, super clean and cosy, and luckily for us we also had the cottage to ourselves. We did not see the northern lights here, but sleeping under the stars remains a magical experience.

Loads of space, 2 rooms (1 sngl, 1 dbl)and could sleep 4. Comfortable and warm apartment. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and cooker. A few minutes walk to main street in town and about 2 minutes to bus stop to airport.

The apartment was amazing! Very comfortable, cosy, equipped woth everything you may need, clean, convenient position near the railway station and bus to center town or to Santa Village. Big supermarket less than 10 mins by foot.
The host was at the same level :) he helped us a lot with everything we needed. More than that, he offered to keep our luggage and even move us from his apartment to the next accommodation.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spotless clean accommodation, we had the hotel room. Not too spacious, but more than enough to get around a couple of days. Proper shower. Nice restaurant. Beautiful environment! We had a great stay.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a private sauna and absolutely could not have been happier. The sauna was easy to work, the hotel was in the center of Ivalo and very close to everything (this matters when it is -25...), and the staff were great. What's not to love? We will certainly return.

This is a truly wonderful lodge with everything you need. Checking was a breeze, easy to find and access to the lodge and parking was excellent. I good link to local activity providers Husky who were also brilliant. We had to book this accommodation after being let down by by another local provider. However, it was a blessing in disguise.

Great location, staff very kind, helpful, always available (we got reply in less than 30 min). Very clean house, the kitchen is equipped with all appliances (mixer, toaster, microwave oven, dishwasher etc). Next to the house there is a lot of space for playing, the surroundings are suitable for walks. Perfect holiday accommodation travelling in pair/group or with family.

I didn't realise when booking that it's not a hotel it is an apartment in a complex. Receiving the keys was easy with good instructions on how to access them. Washing machine which was handy, also had a lift which made it helpful with all of our luggage.

My hotel room was clean and had everything I needed. I had a good night's sleep because the bed, duvet and pillow were very good. Peaceful and quiet. Spacious sauna. I was able to enjoy the warmth of the sauna by myself even on the public shift. The communal kitchen had cutlery etc. for meals. Cooking could have been done to some extent too, if needed. I can recommend Toivola!

Apartment was spotless. Suited our family of 2 adults and 4 children, much better than staying in a hotel. Apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. Very warm. Location was in the middle of Rovaniemi Town centre, lovely to enjoy walks by the lake and head out for food or hot chocolates. Santa claus village & Airport is a short riide away, 7 mins or so driving. Will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay

Great service and very friendly hosts, who were always very keen to help with our questions and specific asks including transport.
Fantastic accommodation -lots of space in a spacious, modern and clean apartment by the lake. Unbeatable value for money.
Nice buffet breakfast, with a broad variety of local specialties which gave us a flavor of the local specials.

Good location 10 minutes to train station and city center by walking. There are two big markets in front of the apartment. Price is very affordable comparing to other apartments/hotels around the area. The host is very responsive. It has a small kitchen with all amenities you need. It has a spacious bathroom. If you don’t expect 5 star hotel treatment, you will have a very happy stay.

It was nice to stay in an apartment that felt like a home (rather than an impersonal hotel room). We appreciated that there was a lot of room for the two of us, comfy beds, a nice kitchen (with a sweet view of snow covered trees). Everything met our needs really well.
The location, in particular, was brilliant... so close to everything, including restaurants and museums, the train (our arrival) and bus (our departure). We were able to walk to everything, in spite of the very cold weather when we arrived.

What a wonderful apartment in the heart of Rovaniemi! Our host Petteri was amazing: he very kindly met us at the airport and drove us to the accommodation to show us around, gave us plenty of tips about Rovaniemi and places to see the Northern Lights, and even dropped us off at the meeting point for our next stop when our stay ended. The apartment is very cosy and comfortable, and is situated in walking distance from restaurants, the supermarket and the bus to Santa Claus Village. Can't recommend highly enough!

The apartment we had was perfect for 2 people. We spent one night but would have been perfect for a longer vacation. The resort is very easy to find and just 15 minutes drive from Saariselka. The sauna in the bathroom is functioning well, it also had a timer so we had it on when we came back from Aurora hunting and we could warm up before bed.
