Lodgings in Skipton

Very clean, very spacious, staff very friendly and helpful, room was excellent value for money, lots of parking highly recommend

Hotel old and full of character, with our room at the rear of the premises modern but charming, and very quiet in spite of being at the back of a hotel on the main street in the town centre! Staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the food excellent.

Over the top. Great Room. Best Breakfast yet day 9. Absolutely over the Moon. Great value

The room was extremely comfortable , well presented ,with everything we needed. Lovely and warm on the coldest of nights. Nice bar and restaurant areas with a good dinner menu and an excellent breakfast . Great staff.

Everything was exceptional. The room was sparkling. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very attentive--going well above and beyond. And the food!!!! The Full English breakfast was a treat, and I didn't expect the superb lunches and dinners. Finally, the location was perfect, far enough away from the town center to be quiet at night but easily walkable.

Excellent clean place attention to detail will def stay again

Staff was so friendly and welcoming, food excellent, comfortable room.

it was in an ideal location with beautiful views and handy for some great walks straight from the place, our room was lovely, plenty for breakfast not full English which we knew, but more enough lastly the hosts were so friendly and helpful and welcoming I would definitely recommend and definitely return

So beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful

The Yorkshire Unicorn accommodation is ideally located in town, close to shops, pubs, cafes and bus station. The train station is about a 10min walk but easy. It is self check-in with code and you don't see any staff. It has been renovated beautifully. A lovely gift box of treats are left for you which was very nice. Its a stroll through town to canal boat rides, castle and there is a lovely circular walk around the castle in the woods. Laundromat is about a 7min walk away but the ladies there are very helpful.

Friendly welcome from helpful staff. Good food and drink at a sensible price. Excellent breakfast! Perfect for my overnight stay.

The house was very comfortable. I had inquired in advance about specific kitchen implements and Nick responded quickly, so we were able to plan accordingly. A couple of things came up during our stay and, again, Nick responded quickly.

Everything was perfect super comfy fantastic communication with host lollipop cottage was above expectations 10/10... will definitely use again

Stunning little escape. The owners have created an oasis in a lovely location. We never met but communication was excellent and so friendly. Its location is idyllic, the layout super smart and comfortable, and it is filled with everything you need for.

Very comfortable BnB, beautiful location, excellent breakfast and the host Hannah couldn't have been nicer or more courteous to us.

Pleasant little place. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Street leading to apartment iis very narrow as is typical of Yorkshire Dales so is not ideal for manoeuvring cars. Milk, coffee, tea and breakfast provisions were unexpectedly provided which was a nice touch.

Such kind and helpful people. Will definitely return.

The staff were so welcoming and incredibly helpful. We only stayed for a night, but the staff went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our young children. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very accommodating in the dining area, too. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Also, the building was great - really old features and interesting historical items dotted around.

We had a great night , what a lovely place , great people , great breakfast , comfy bed In fact everything was fantastic Can't fault our stay the owners were so welcoming

The entire staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Especially enjoyed the receptionist.

Perfect location for a day/night out in Skipton. Breakfast wasn't included so nipped across the road to Weatherspoons. Lots of cafes nearby if a pub isn't for you.

Stunning location, lovely breakfast, excellent value for money.

Great location. Spacious apartment. Clean and quiet. Parking not far.

Great location near the town center and close to the railroad station. The apartment is large, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed having a kitchen and relaxing there with our meals.

I had the most perfect stay at Highfield Guest House! Debbie is a wonderful and kind host who was extremely helpful and clearly takes wonderful care of her establishment. Some highlights were the great location, the bed being one of the comfiest and coziest I’ve ever slept in, I had a beautiful view of the Yorkshire dales, everything was spotlessly clean, and I also felt very safe as a female solo traveller. I would love to come back and stay again and highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Skipton!

This ground floor flat was very comfortable, pristine, well equipped, and the location was perfect - several cafes on the street, one block from the high street with more cafes and shops, 1-1/2 blocks from M & S grocery store, and a short walk from the castle and the Forest Walk skirting the castle. There are a multitude of restaurants and pubs close by, which made it very difficult to choose, sometimes! LOL It was a very secure neighbourhood (important for a senior woman travelling on her own). The information package was most informative and included instructions on the use of all appliances.

Very nice room in a good location.
