Amazing rooms for the price. Shower had a 2nd rainfall shower in the ceiling and both showerheads could be used at once! Front desk service was phenomenal. We needed to Yamato our bags, and not only did they accept payment by card, they had a box and tape for us!! Very clean, housekeeping left new towels on the door every day. Comfortable bed and good a/c. If i was ever staying in Tochigi again, I'd pick this hotel every time.

The guesthouse is owned by a former backpacker so he understands how 2 cater to us travelers..from direction to recommendations and stories of his journeys of places you probably will never get to go. He is also cleans the place and takes the time to fold the little triangles on the toilet paper roll. The location is worth the stay alone considering how inexpensive it is & extremely close to the Utsunomiya train station. There is a supermarket that is 5 min walk away that closes at 10pm which is very convenient. Microwave & a small refrigerator are located in the lounge area if you need to store some snacks/drinks. The standup lockers provided are huge which is unheard of for a guesthouse/hostel in Japan. They can easily fit your standard carryon but not your huge checkin luggage or multi-day backpack made for trekking. The dormitory bedroom was very comfortable. Equipped with a A/C unit/heater so you can set the temperature if you like. Don't waste your time with hotels or other hostels. THIS IS THE SPOT!!!

StayAozora is located in Tochigi and features a garden. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

Kei San was very helpful I arrived at night and couldn't find the stay but he came out to the main road and showed me there. The traditional room with a futon was comfortable. Super inviting I would absolutely stay here again.

After staying at a few other Airbnbs and hotels, it was really nice that seasoning was available for use when I needed to cook, like soy sauce, salt & etc. The hosts were also extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were ready to make recommendations as needed and made themselves available to chat if you needed some company!

The villa, set in a building dating from 2024, offers free Wifi and free private parking.

This homestay was perfect for our family of five. We had enough room to sleep and while traveling, it’s always great to have a kitchen for preparing meals. We had everything we needed here. The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us before we came and reached out to us during and after.
