Lodgings in Zamami

The staff went above and beyond by mailing me the shoes I accidentally left behind to the city I traveled to after visiting Zamami Island. I’ll be forever grateful.

We stayed in this place for 3 night. It is very cosy and warm. the family who is running the place makes you feel like home. the rooms are spacious, futon beds are comfortable as well. the airco is in every room so you will get a good night of sleep. the location is perfect, close to everything. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful location, rooms are very nice and cozy. We got the room with our own bathroom and that was nice! They have everything you need and if something is missing you can go to the main office and grab what you need. The island is so welcoming, we did not want to leave. We'd love to go back and stay here again!

They offer services for tours. The room also features a binder with extensive information on various places where you can rent equipment, take tours, eat, and more. Extremely helpful. As a side note. Coin lockers are available upon arrival at the port at two alternative locations: one within the waiting area to the left of the public bathrooms, and another at the bottom of the souvenir shop. Both locations have the big luggage lockers as well. Staff is also quite chill

The location and accommodations were fantastic. We stayed in the annex and they are spacious and modern tiny homes. The food was high quality varied enough to please everyone in our group. I think this must be the best place to stay on the island!

All perfect, staff are very friendly and welcoming, they picked me up, helped me find and reserve snorkeling activities, and they gave me a free rental snorkeling tools to snorkel solo. One thing that is phenomenal is the dinner course, 5 stars, exquisite and excellent, definitely worth the value! Big thanks to the Chef :)

We loved absolutely everything! And especially the owners who are charming, kind, helpful and their hospitality is on the highest possible level! The place is lovely, clean, quiet, comfortable, super close to a beautiful beach. The surroundings are amazing as well. And the food in the guesthouse restaurant is gorgeous! I fell in love with this place!

The hosts were great! Always there to answer questions and made our family feel at home!

Property in pristine conditions.

The size of the house was comfortable for three people. There was an extra room advertised on the site with a bed that was shut off to guests. The outdoor patio area has some junk but it is pleasant to have a place to sit outside and the clothesline was convenient.

We loved our stay at Housei. The location was perfect, the food was delicious, but most of all, the staff were so warm and welcoming. We are so glad we had our baby moon at Akajima and at Housei. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure we were able to return by ferry- even when it was full due to a typhoon coming. We can’t wait to go back with our baby!

The staff where helpful and accommodating

The host was awesome! He helped us check in quickly and has a very cute dog! :) The location is great, close to the port, so even if you have luggage, you can quickly and easily get to the accommodation. We didn't really expect it would be so well equipped either—it has everything you'd need even for longer stays. And the cleanliness is 10/10!

The breakfast was very good, it was very filling and tasted phenomenal.

We loved the helpful host who met us on arrival. We did not have much cash with us when we arrived and there is only one ATM on the island, which was at the closed Post Office. Our host helped us arrange to get dinner at a local restaurant and vouched for us to pay them in the morning when the ATM would be available. We really appreciated that. The house was big and spacious enough for our family of 6. The tatami mats and wood floors were amazing. It was great to have a clothes washer and dryer. We enjoyed that we could walk wherever we needed to go.
