Perfect resort to relax and stay away from crowds

We had a beachfront bungalow and it was worth the splurge. It's in a remote area but we knew that from our research and we enjoyed the peacefulness. We had our driver from our airport pickup stop at a 7-Eleven in order to stock up on treats before arriving at the resort. We enjoying walking up and down the beach in both directions.

The breafast was as expected, and catered for by curteous and efficient staff. All of the staff were helpful and charming. The location is stunning, fronting a sandy, coconut tree-lined beach. Lovely swimming pool also available to use.

A stay at Khwan Beach Resort is beautiful and relaxing, situated right near the beach (2 min walk), offering a variety of accommodation styles to suit all budgets and tastes We stayed in a two storey Pool Villa (Jungle) which was private, air conditioned and beautifully appointed, with a river view and ocean glimpses from our second floor bedroom suite. Our villa also had a pullout sofa bed downstairs, two large, private outdoor shower rooms, two toilets and a well equipped kitchen. Little extras were also provided and very much appreciated i.e. pool towels and beach basket, insect repellant atomisers and glass bottled water which was replenished daily. The onsite restaurant was also a bonus, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with entertainment each night until late. Another great service was the ability to book a car through reception via WhatsApp for collection from the resort and return again. We utilised this service daily, and it was so simple and convenient to use. The staff at Khwan Beach Resort are exceptional. Always happy, friendly and helpful. This includes the reception staff, bar staff, waiters and room attendants. We arrived a couple of hours before check in, but were given pool towels and access to the beautiful main pool, bar and restaurant while we waited for our room to be ready. We could not fault Khwan Beach Resort.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful hotel with such a nice jungle vibe, right on the beach. The breakfast restaurant is literally by the sea, so having breakfast with that view was amazing! They also offer free SUPs, and you can walk along the beach and get massages/food nearby. I stayed here with my mom and we had such a great time!

The location is amazing! Right on the beach. All the staff are very friendly and genuinely care that you are enjoying your stay. It’s very clean, the food is incredible - best green curry I had anywhere in Thailand. Generous happy hours and the barman pours excellent cocktails.

The facilities offered and the location was perfect ! Rent a scooter you can get around everywhere .

We came here to take a break and relax after a busy work period. The place was perfect for that! We mostly stayed at the villa because we were feeling lazy, and there were occasional heavy rains. It felt like we were in a tropical paradise with European-style comfort. You can even have massage in your bedroom if you don't fell like going out :) The villa was very clean and you could tell it was built with care. Small details like the cool lights under the bed and nice soaps in the bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, cozy design made our experience awesome. Also, John, the host, was super friendly. He gave us great tips on where to find the best food on the island and other things to do. Overall, we would definitely come back again!

Beautifully landscaped and gorgeously maintained

The location was amazing! Right on the beach, so many places to eat and get massages on the same street! Within walking distance of a lot of stuff! The best part was the staff! Everyone was so SO nice and outgoing. The owner was PHENOMENAL! She felt like a friend! She had lots of recommendations and even walked my husband and I to a good restaurant! She was very attentive and caring. I have never stayed at a place that had the hospitality this location did. We would absolutely go back! There’s a restaurant downstairs, she has sunscreen available for use, the AC works great, wasn’t too noisy, it was just an amazing day!!

Lovely stay was just there for a night. The Thai lady who’s the manager is such a sweet heart! Perfect spot.

Nice pool, Parking, the house had all the amenities

The hotel is so beautiful, the food including breakfast were outstanding. They have a wood fire pizza oven with the most delicious pizza and a grill. Special touches like a face mask in the women’s toiletry bag. The spa is 5 star from start to finish with delicious teas on arrival and at the end. Selecting the natural oils and scrubs. I entered the spa completely stressed and came out feeling pampered and a new me. The thing that puts this hotel in another category is the staff. They don’t go beyond, but beyond beyond. Making sure that every need is met with a true commitment to excellence. Thank you Tiki for always helping us. Special thanks to Jon who has to be one of the hardest working people I have ever met and is obviously the best at what he does ensuring that your stay is a special one. We had an incredible time and thank you to everyone!🌺

Perfect!!!! Everything was good!! Highly recommended!💗💗 We even took another night

I loved everything! The location was convenient and very quiet. We wanted a not too busy beach but with a few different restaurants to choose from. It was better than we expected! The room was amazing and having room 3 we got both garden and sea view! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the beach was lovely and quiet and the sun beds were plentiful! The restaurant was really good- amazing food. (Special mention to the pad kra pao and also the Caesar salad!) The staff were amazing. I felt like a VIP guest. They were so thoughtful and kind and went over and above my expectations. I cannot wait to come back!

This is our second time staying at Mimosa and the staff in hotel and restaurant are amazing.... nothing is any trouble and always have smile on their faces....amazing hotel

It had the best beach of the whole Bay!!! The bungalows were laid out very nicely, and the property had very large and very good restaurant and bar!!! Down the road, a short walk it was a nice nighttime food market, where you could get drinks and supper!

Two steps away from the pier. Pretty clean and comfortable. It’s absolutely beautiful outside, like a little jungle. The pool is pretty nice too. Facilities were good.

Beautiful pool with lush greenery and mountain views. Room was good, staff were pleasant and accommodating. Right across the street from a stunning beach and beach restaurants. This is not a luxury hotel but overall great balance of value for your dollar.

Amazing property with lot of greenery, real oasis of piece

The resort was very comfortable, ideal for relaxing by the pool. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The staff were amazing. Shout out to Kwan, Pam, June, Pond and Noom.

I spend there only 2 days (1 night) during my travels accross Thailand, but it was the place where I want to go for week or two vacation. It is literally on the beach, it takes you 30 seconds to get into the water (if you book the bungalow). The room was clean, nice and suitable for 2 people. The breakfast is served on the outside table on the terrace with seaview. The staff were nice, polite and helpful. The owner was great, willing to provide whatever you ask for. I would give 11/10 rating if possible!

Jai adorée mon séjour tout étais propre ,on ressent une chambre conçu avec soins ,brosse à dans shampooing gel douche coton tige tout est fait pour que vous sentiez bien , le personnel est adorable ils offrent des équipements de plongée ,des serviettes de plage ,des bouteilles d’eau,on c’est vraiment senti comme chez sois avec des fruit frais gratuit , il faut juste prévoir 1000 bath pour un deposit de sécurité

Great clean place with friendly accommodating staff! Super quiet and relaxing piece of Koh Samui if you are looking to get away from the crowds for a little while

Staff were amazing, the villa was perfect for family stay , buffet breakfast was great. The beach and pool made it hard to leave the resort. Quieter part of the island and beach was super peaceful. About a $15 grab to the busier parts of Koh Samui, but there are decent cheap restaurants within walking distance. The spa was amazing. Pricey but the best Thai massage my partner has ever had, which is a big call from her.
