The accommodation in Cantinha do Sossego was magical, a beautiful environment, a beautiful courtyard where you could sit under a kiwi, a well-equipped apartment, including a hair dryer, an equipped kitchen, and a bonus was the very nice host (grandpa) who drove us to the supermarket by car. so we can make a purchase. We spent one night there on our Camino and would love to go back :)

Since I was arriving on late flight from Germany and wasn’t quite sure if I’d make it to the accommodation before midnight, I had a friend from Porto call the host to make arrangements or check k on how to proceed.
The hotline was extremely HELPFUL and UNCOMPLICATED.

The apartment was very spacious, clean with sufficient equipment (dishes, fridge, hair dryer, towels, cleaning products, paper towels, etc.) in a good location - close to the public transport stop, to the store (Lidl) and without any problems walking to the center. Very good water flow in the shower! Communication with the owners was perfect.
I consider this accommodation to be a very good choice for anyone who doesn't mind climbing stairs (of course it depends on the room).

The owner is very nice, polite and welcoming. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and it had all the necessities we needed. The neighbourhood is quiet which we really likes and we didn’t have any trouble sleeping. If we happen to visit Porto another time, we will gladly stay in this apartment once again.

The location is perfect. Just one street back from the river. As much as it's in a busy area it was quiet at night (we were on the 1st floor too!) so a good sleep was had. Room was spacious enough and very clean. Bathroom was big. Decor of hotel was stylish and nicely presented.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for visiting all the main attractions of the city. We had zero traffic noise at night which was a real bonus and perfect for a good nights sleep. Staff were more than helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed breakfast ... plenty of choice!

Very beautiful and quiet apartment in the town centre - close to shops and beach. Helena (and her son) were very kind, super friendly and made us feel like old friends. She met us with a smile and a glass of port and left each resident some breakfast snacks. We had use of a shared kitchen and patio - which was great, and the bed allowed a good night's sleep.

Location is very convenient to see all the attractions. Close to the mercado do Bolhão and 3 supermarkets.
Breakfast is served at 6:30 which is extremely convenient if you have more traveling early in the morning. Included scrambled and boiled eggs, pancakes machine, all the ingredients for a sandwich, cereal, etc.
Rooms might be small but if you are the kind of traveler who needs the hotel just to sleep then it’s perfect and very clean.
Very friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out.

Celina provided excellent, thoughtful communication all through my stay, the quality of the furnishings and linen were fabulous, and the location was right In the heart of the old town.
Usually with private hosts there's always something that isn't right but honestly Celina has thought of everything and if I could've stayed longer I would have!

Everything was awesome and i can rate the apartment 11 by 10 because it was an outstanding experience from A to Z. I have been staying more than 20 hotels in a year but never have had a such perfect experience before. The flat has been decorated with full of necessary stuff, very clean, easy access to parking, nice place to stay in, great smiley team at reception as well as their friendly suggestions. They were always ready to response all our inquiries in each minute and we have felt like staying at our home.

Beautiful building - a combination of old and new architecture, decorated with a great sense of style and class.
Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a fantastic quality of sleep.

It’s close to the old town and yet it’s situated in a peaceful area so you can sleep peacefully, even with Sao Joao being celebrated in the whole city. The host is very friendly and helpful, we even got complimentary wine and fruit! The apartment is well equipped.

The hotel communicated about check in and upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious, had two lovely bathrooms, it was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the pool.
The pool area was lovely and poor towels are available from reception.
Overall a lovely property and a central location for tourists. They also had an elevator which was a bonus.
